Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio is making moves to improve their existing MBA program. Recently, the school added an Accelerated Business Essentials program to make the Master of Business Administration more affordable and accessible to students.
With this addition, MBA students will be able to participate in five-week online modules for each MBA foundational course. Upon completion, they’re given the opportunity to test out of the course. Modules are asynchronous, meaning students can work at their own pace to master subject matter.
Associate Professor of Finance at Wright State, Brandon Morris, PhD said, “That’s what this is built for. … It’s designed to allow more people into the MBA program so they can get an MBA from Wright State for less money. It’s a big pull to our MBA program. An MBA can open a lot of doors for people who may be looking for a new job or to start their own companies.”
