Tallahassee Community College Adds New Associate’s Degree Programs

Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida was recently named one of our Top 10 Hidden Gem Colleges, and the school is gleaming even brighter today.  TCC recently announced the addition of eight new associate’s degree programs to its already impressive lineup of academic offerings.

The new programs will culminate in Associate of Science (AS) degrees in the following areas:

  • Animation and Game Art
  • Applied Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Crimes
  • Crime Scene Technology
  • Computer Information Technology
  • Data Science Technology
  • Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Game Development Design

Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost Dr. Calandra Stringer had this to say about the new degree opportunities: “We are thrilled to introduce these new A.S. degree programs. By offering these programs, we are not only addressing the demands of the job market but also empowering our students to pursue rewarding careers in high-demand fields.”

As the cost of a four-year degree rises, more and more college hopefuls are considering community college as an affordable alternative. TCC is keeping up with this trend while also fulfilling employment needs in the local area. The school was recently ranked among some of the best community colleges in the United States by Niche.
