Rugby players who want to spend their time on the field as opposed to in a classroom can now earn their MBAs online. Indiana University’s renowned Kelley School of Business is making this dream scenario come true beginning later this year.

Chair of the U.S. Rugby Association Nick Civetta said, “The USRPA and MLRPA partnership with IU Kelley School of Business is a fantastic opportunity for American rugby players to gain affordable access to one of the most valuable educational opportunities in the country. American rugby players have unique skills that are hugely valuable in the workplace, and a Kelley MBA gives players the hard skills to drive success in their post-playing career.”

Rugby players affiliated with both the U.S. Rugby Association and the Major League Rugby Players Association will be eligible for this distance learning opportunity. Current and former players will be considered for admission.
