Students who graduate from Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York are now ensured a smooth transition to Manhattan College, thanks to the new articulation agreement between the two schools.
Aside from being guaranteed admission to most programs at Manhattan College, Nassau Community College graduates who meet GPA requirements will also be automatically considered for merit scholarships to fund their continued education.
NCC’s Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Maria Conzatti had this to say about the recent partnership between the two schools: “Our collaboration with Manhattan College promises to enrich our academic community and broaden the horizons for our students. This partnership embodies our shared commitment to excellence in education, innovation, and community engagement. More than just cooperation, our agreement represents a united effort to empower our students to reach new heights. We look forward to the remarkable opportunities this partnership will bring and the positive impact it will have on our collective journey.”
President of Manhattan College Milo Riverso, PhD called the agreement a “win-win” for both schools. Ultimately, students at NCC stand to benefit the most from the partnership.
U.S. News & World Report has ranked Manhattan College among the top 15 regional universities in the North. It’s also been called a “best value” college and has received national recognition for its undergraduate teaching programs.
Both Manhattan College and Nassau Community College are fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
