Online colleges and universities offer solutions for those looking to return to school in adulthood or who want to attend an out-of-town school without leaving home. The pricey tuition for some of these institutions doesn’t have to be a barrier thanks to many online scholarship opportunities.
If you’re considering attending an online university, one of these five scholarships for online colleges may help cover the cost.

Since Get Educated is committed to supporting online education regardless of what school you choose, the scholarship can be put toward any accredited program that offers distance learning classes. This gives you the freedom to attend whatever school has the best resources to help you meet your future goals.
Penn State World Campus
Pennsylvania State University’s online World Campus branch gives students everywhere access to a diverse selection of accredited Penn State degree programs. The university has a commitment to supporting online education for adult students, and they offer scholarships to those who are already enrolled in World Campus programs. A 3.2 GPA or higher is required to qualify, and you must be able to show financial need by having a FAFSA filed with the school’s student aid office.
