About Baker College

Baker College, which was founded in 1911 by Eldon E Baker, is located in Flint Township, Michigan. It’s a private college that offers a number of professional degree tracks, as well as trade school programs.

Originally called Baker Business University, this school has 12 locations throughout Michigan. Some of its locations boast some pretty interesting histories. Its College Center for Transportation was once a car dealership in Flint, and its culinary institute is a nearly 40,000-square-foot facility where students can study food and beverage management, baking and pastry arts and other similar educational tracks.

The school’s curriculum and degrees have garnered some pretty impressive awards and accolades over the year. In 2008 and 2009, the school won the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. It also won the Michigan Collegiate Cyber Defense Network state championship in the years 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. It’s the only school to have won the national cyber defense competition twice.

Baker College Application Requirements

Baker College is committed to making education accessible to students. To that end, the school has made its application page fairly straightforward and easy to understand.

Additionally, students will be accepted if they can submit one or more of the minimum assessment verification documents. These are:
